Kiss your Summer goodbye & say hello to the Fall!!!

Hey ladies! It's time! That favorite time of the year where it's not too cold, but definitely not too hot to break out the leather jackets and boots. Now I know what you're thinking...a cute ruffled scarf or a vintage handbag may be all you need to complete your FALL look...NOT QUITE!!!! Aren't you forgetting something....?!?!

YOUR FACE!!! The right Eye Shadow and Lip Gloss can be the very thing you need to set your FIERCE FALL FASHION off! Lets take a look into some 2011 Fall Makeup Lines.

This is the NEW Aveda Jewels of The Earth Collection that's prepared to launch fall 2011. Now you can always try and duplicate the look the model has here, but me....well...I like taking risks/ trying something new. The Jade (green) eye shadow would be HOT for a smokey eye look, while accenting the lips with the Tanzanite(plum)lipstick. I sooo can't wait to try it out. Eye shadow colors (top to bottom): Terraverte, Sanidine, Jade, Amethyst, Crushed Citrine and Azurite. Lipstick (left to right): Sheer Petalite, Tanzanite and Vanadinite.

Don't these colours just scream FALL!!!!!

RED is just one of those colours that will NEVER be outdated nor out of season. L'Oreal recently launched their Target Red Collection. Now, me personally, I've never done the RED lip stick, especially NOT out in public, but who cares...it's FALL! Take risks! The collection includes:
  1. L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lip Color $9.99
  2. L’Oreal Colour Rich Lip Color $5.99
  3. L’Oreal Infallible Le Rouge Lipstick $8.99
  4. L’Oreal Pro Manicure Nail Polish $3.99
Available exclusively at Target and Target.com

Urban Decay also launched their 15-Year Anniversary Eye Shadow Collection along with their 24/7 WATERPROOF liquid eyeliner. The eye shadow pallet priced at $55 and the eyeliners are $18 ea. You can find them at your local Sephora, sephora.com or urbandecay.com

Now lets take a peek at one of this season's fashion trends

Smokey eyes: This technique is a little more intense than it looks. it's more than just smudging a bit of black eye shadow on the lid. PlacementPrecision are the perfect ingredients for a flawless finished product...

It's Miss Logan, but you all may know her as Brianna from Tyler Perry's "Meet The Browns". Her smokey eye gives you a fun yet sexy look that's MORE than perfect for a night out on the town with the girlies! Owwww!

This model was featured in 2011 NY Fashion week. Her smokey eye is extended at the end, giving a darker and more drastic look, one that's excellent for any RUNWAY!

BUT! Who says precision is always necessary?!?! For that BOLD/ DRAMATIC look...sometimes M e s S is MORE!!!!!

Chanel 2011 Fall/Winter makeup trend features a harsh and sultry shadow defining the bulb of the eye.

i love love lovvvvvvve this! this messy smudge trend is my favorite! of the black eye shadow looks like she's crying smoke. simply AMAZING! Makeup by celebrity makeup artist: Larry Petterson.

HAPPY FALL everyone!

  1. I'm normally the "scarf and vintage bag" type but I'm gonna try doing a pop of color for eye shadow this fall...exit comfort zone!

  3. Any suggestions for a pop of lip color other than bold red? I love the red lip but I don't think it works on me. I want to try something other than the soft subtle lip gloss colors but not sure which direction to go.
BTW Love the blog, love you and proud of you! xoxoxoxoxo ;)
